Afghan Khorasan Kabab in Al Quoz 1 is a straightforward spot for those craving authentic Afghan flavors in Dubai’s industrial and creative district. The restaurant leans into its roots with a menu featuring rich, hearty dishes like lamb chops, mixed grill platters paired with fragrant Afghani pulao, and a variety of kababs including mutton tikka, kofta, and chappli kebabs. It’s the kind of place where slow-grilled meats take center stage, complemented by traditional sides such as hummus, tandori roti, and warming soups.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and unpretentious, embracing a calm, welcoming vibe rather than flashy decor. Despite a modest exterior, the interiors feel spacious and clean, making it comfortable for both small groups and solo diners. Seating is communal without family-specific sections, which might feel a bit casual for those used to more segregated settings, but this openness aligns with the no-fuss dining experience the restaurant offers.

Afghan Khorasan Kabab thrives as a spot for straightforward, satisfying meals rather than ambient dining occasions. It’s a good fit for lunch or dinner when you want something filling yet affordable—especially if you appreciate the tactile pleasure of fresh, warm Afghan bread that’s perfect for soaking up the flavorful stews and kabab juices. Those who enjoy smoky, spiced barbecue with a hint of heat will find the mixed kebabs a reliable choice. The menu’s balance of grilled meats and spiced curries like mutton kadai appeals to diners who like a bit of variety and depth in their meals.

Local diners often return because the quality and authenticity remain consistent, even after years. The staff tend to keep the service straightforward and efficient, focusing on delivering well-prepared food rather than elaborate dining theatrics. This makes it well-suited for casual gatherings or solo meals without a long wait or formality.

In summary, Afghan Khorasan Kabab feels like a practical go-to for anyone in the area seeking genuine Afghan cuisine delivered with modest hospitality—solid for both Afghani expats missing home flavors and anyone curious about the region’s culinary traditions in a laid-back, no-frills setting.

I had an excellent dining experience at Afghanistan Khorasan Kabab in Al Quoz 1, and it truly deserves a 5-star rating. From the moment I entered, the ambiance felt warm, clean, and welcoming, reflecting authentic Afghan hospitality. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a hearty meal. I ordered Mutton Pulao, Daal, and Namkeen, and every dish exceeded my expectations. The Mutton Pulao was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and rich in flavor, with tender meat that melted in the mouth. The Daal was well-balanced, comforting, and tasted homemade, while the Namkeen had an authentic Afghan touch with just the right seasoning. The quality of ingredients and traditional taste were clearly noticeable. A special appreciation goes to Mr. Sajawal, who took our order. He was extremely polite, patient, and supportive, and guided us very well with the menu. His friendly attitude and professionalism made the experience even better and showed genuine care for customers. Overall, the food quality, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. I highly recommend Afghanistan Khorasan Kabab to anyone looking for authentic Afghan cuisine in Dubai. I will definitely be visiting again.

I recently revisited this restaurant after almost six years and was pleasantly surprised to find that the food still has the same amazing taste. While the exterior might not give the best first impression, the interior is spacious and welcoming. The seating is mixed and not separated for families, which could be improved. Their barbecue is exceptional, and the kabuli pulao is absolutely delicious. However, the starters and service could use some enhancement. Additionally, adding outdoor seating could significantly improve the overall dining experience.

Atmosphere was charming I tried the Mix Kebab and it was seriously delicious - tender, full of flavor, and with a nice spicy kick (a bit hotter than expected, but in the best way!). But let's talk about their fresh baked bread- warm, it was so good I had to order extra just to soak up all those amazing sauces! And get this - the price is unbelievably good for such quality. Between the juicy kebabs and that heavenly bread, I'm definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu!"

We recently visited Afghan Khorasan Kebab and had a fantastic dining experience that’s worth sharing. We ordered their three-dish thali, which included Mutton Rosh, Daal Chana, and Bhindi Masala — and each item truly delivered in terms of flavor, authenticity, and satisfaction. The Mutton Rosh was the highlight — incredibly tender pieces of meat cooked in a rich, aromatic broth that reflected the depth of traditional Pakistani cooking. It had that slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to come by and instantly made it a favorite at the table. The Daal Chana was equally impressive. It had a comforting, home-style texture with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. It was simple yet bursting with flavor — something that can only come from a place that understands its roots in Pakistani cuisine. The surprise element was the Bhindi Masala, which was fresh, well-cooked, and packed with taste. It wasn’t overly oily, and the masala was perfectly balanced, enhancing the natural flavor of the bhindi without overpowering it. Beyond the food, the restaurant ambiance was clean and modest, perfect for a casual meal. The staff was polite, helpful, and very cooperative, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Afghan Khorasan Kebab is a great choice for those looking to enjoy authentic, traditional Pakistani-style dishes in a comfortable and friendly environment. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.

Short drive across the bridge if you are coming from Downtown / Business Bay area. Does the job for a quick local fix - - Mixed grill is pretty standard, can be more savory. Chicken breast is dried and hard - Lamb ribs are above average, maintains its juicyness - Roast chicken is not bad pretty autenthic - Kunafa is nice, light and crispy.

If you're craving authentic Afghan food, this spot in Al Quoz is a gem. Their Bukhari Mutton Pulao is packed with flavor and tender meat, while the Green Kadahi with fresh naan is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. Shoutout to Sajawal, the server—super friendly, attentive, and really knows the menu well. He made the whole experience even better. Great food, warm service, and solid value. Definitely worth a visit!

Tried Afghan Khorasan Kabab recently and was quite pleased with the overall experience. The food was flavorful and authentic — especially the kebabs which were well-seasoned and juicy. The place itself is clean and nicely set up, offering a good atmosphere for casual dining. That said, the service could use some improvement. It felt a bit uncoordinated and slower than expected, even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time. Still, worth a visit if you’re in the mood for Afghan cuisine in Dubai.
